I live in a two-story house. I just discovered that water from my upstairs bathroom has been leaking in the wall of my child's downstairs bedroom. If the leak can be fixed without knocking down the wall, should the wall still be taken down to remove any mold that may be growing there? We have not noticed any signs of mold, but suspect that this leak has been going on for a long time. Is there a chance that mold may not be growing in the wall?

I hope that you have this problem solved by now.

I have been having mold related breathing problems myself the last couple of weeks and have been out.

Let me know if you still have concerns and I will get right on it.
