Hi there, quick question for you. We have been in our house for 5 years (no previous owners) and we have hardwood flooring in our kitchen and entryway. The type of wood flooring that we have has crevices between each slat of wood that food and liquid can very easily get trapped in. I do use a mop on the floor when cleaning and try to do my best to dry to floor when I am done. But my main concern is other things that fall between the cracks that I can't get out altogether. Is it possible to develop black mold (or other mold) in between these crevices? I did order 3 black mold tests a few minutes ago because I am making myself paranoid about this. I do try to use a toothbrush once or twice a year across the whole floor to try to get out as much "junk" as possible. Any comments/suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Marla in Pinckney, Michigan
