How would you remove a cast iron drain pipe that appears to have melted lead holding it together? Can lead be melted?

I tried a small propane torch with no luck.

Can it be cut or drilled to remove it? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Not sure if you are trying to remove the pipe completely or part of it. If part of it, a quick method is a snap cutter which is a special tool. Pressure is put on the pipe till it breaks. Or you can try a cut off blade but this could take a while.
