Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	Long story short... My wife decided one day that she wanted to paint our front door a wine color instead of the whie that was installed. Unfortunately it did not turn out good at all. On top of that she also painted the window slats which got paint on the glass as well. I want to strip the door entirely and repaint it with a compressor sprayer for a more professional, clean look. Can anyone suggest how I can do this? Is there a paint stripper out there for metal that will get the paint off this door including the window slats? Thank you for your thoughts. Sincerely, Tim

provip provip Super Do It Yourselfer Registered: 03/03/01 Posts: 1153 Loc: Victoria, BC, Canada	from experience, I suggest sanding the door with a light paper say start with 220 and finish with 400 grit. Don't need to remove all the paint just get it smooth. Use a paint scraper with a razor blade for the windows and work at it carefully. tape off the glass with masking tape before painting. _________________________ Bart Blainey, B.E.R.
