BEFORE YOU HIRE A HOME CONTRACTOR
CONTACT INFORMATION It seems obvious, but make sure that you include in the contract the contractor's name, physical address, phone number, insurance company and account and license numbers. If there is a dispute, you need to know where the company is located (you can't serve a subpoena if you don't have a physical address - a post office box number won't do!), the company owner, the name of the insurance and bonding carriers and the way by which you can reach all involved parties. SCOPE OF WORK Require a complete description of the work to be done. This includes the overall scope of the work as well as individual aspects of the project; from foundation and framing to all finish work required. The type and quality of all materials should be spelled out, including manufacturers, brand name, quantity, weight, color, style, and size. Are you tired of your Old Kitchen Cabinets, but can't afford to, or just don't want to replace them? This may be the solution for you. There is an easy, straightforward way to refinish your existing kitchen cabinets and have them looking like new while saving money at the same time.
If you follow these basic principles, your job should turn out beautifully and it should only take two or three days to complete the task.
1.Know as much about the surface's history as you can. Know what is already on there.
2. Anticipate problem areas (areas around handles and knobs) before application to minimize hassles while refinishing.
3. Properly prepare the surface.
4. Use high quallity coatings and follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
You don't have to stop at the kitchen, Integrity Coatings has systems to allow you to refinish your bathtubs, sinks, tile surrounds and more! Here are some Frequently Asked Questions that may help you decide if refinishing is for you.
What bathroom and kitchen surfaces can be refinished? Our EP-Acrylic refinishing system works beautifully on: porcelain bathtubs, sinks, fiberglass shower enclosures, pedestal sinks, ceramic tile, Formica countertops, clawfoot tubs ..........................
