The new homes have open arched doorways into the master bedrooms. Does anyone know of a way to put up some kind of a partial privacy screen (?) that wouldn't need a top glide? Can a pocket door be added after the home is finished? Swinging doors would be too intrusive. I was thinking of a folding accordian door (about the size of a swinging door) that could attach to a magnet on the other side of the door way when needed. It would lay fairly flat against one side of the doorway when not needed. I wouldn't want a top glide in the way.

Sounds like you're on the right track.
A pocket door would be expensive to do once the walls are finished.
