Does anyone make a cap that would fit over the sewer gas pipe that extends out the roof of your home? One that prohibits birds, animals from entering it but still allows the gases to escape freely without problems?

If anyone knows of where I could find one would you please point me to it? Thank you!

Can't imagine why a bird or animal would want to enter a sewer gas pipe assuming a standard size of about 1 3/4" pipe.

If you are concerned you could try putting some screening over the opening....something with large enough holes that won't get clogged easily.

Canplas makes just what you need. A vented vent stack cover.

Around $12 for a standard 4 inch cap.
Sweetstack makes an entire odor control system using the cap.
