I live in the Tampa Bay area of Florida and need to replace the screens in my pool cage. Once or twice a year the temperature will drop below 32degrees so the plants I have around my pool cage will get burnt from the cold and wind. I would like to replace the lower panels that are about 3ft about 6ft long. These are the sizes between the structural post that run about every 6 ft. I have looked into replacing the lower section with aluminum as I can buy them with aluminum on each side and Styrofoam in the middle but because these will be in a pool area I am concerned that might get damaged or dented.
I know plastic and vinyl has come a long way as far as quality but have been unable to find a similar product made out of plastic, vinyl, or any similar product. Can anyone give advise on enclosing this area?

Outdoor pools and pool screens are out of my relm. These are not common in my area. Maybe Jimmy can help you. Pools must be more common in Texas.
