In order to replace my bathroom counter top I must remove the mirror that sits on top of it. The mirror is in an L shape and takes up the full wall space. How can I take this mirror down. I have seen home improvement shows where they tape plastic over the mirror and then break it with a hammer.

I presume the mirror is glued to the wall and that you can't get behind it with a knife or such. You might try using a glass cutter and taking it appart in sections. Be sure and where safety glasses when doing this.
