I have a 8'X 35' tongue & groove front porch with wooden posts & railing. The porch has only been installed for 8 years but the deck is bowing & the posts and railings are rotten. I'm in the process of replacing the porch BUT after I ripped off some of the deck boards I noticed that the joists underneath were not treated. The space underneath the porch is a contained space with no vents. Would like ideas on how I can repair or replace this porch. Thought about using Trex decking but think that the moisture would just gather in the space below & rot out the joists. Any advise would be appreciated.
THANKS

No doubt venting is critical.
Suggest treating the joists with a preservative before putting the new floor boards on.
