What types of mold if any, have a distictive smell, almost like cat urine? We had a flood in our basement about a year ago, and the carpet is still down there, we thought we had dried it all using industrial fans, and 2 dehumidifiers. But it has a terrible smell of cat urine, and we have never owned any pets. Also my 4 year olds eyes get very red they burn and his asthma acts up when he plays down there. Does this sound like a mold problem?

Several types of mold have an ammonia smell to them, but this is typical while they are still wet.

Do a DIY Mold Test from the home page of our site to " Tell the Truth"

The total cost w/ Lab analysis and postage is under $50.00 and well worth it to protect your family's health.
