Choose Your Materials. Take your time. Wilsonart offers a broad range of products and colors, priced to fit any budget. From the edging to the backsplashes to the coordinating sinks and bowls, Wilsonart has the combination you're looking for.

Measure And Make A Sketch. This is easier than it seems. Just record the dimensions of your countertop on the planning grid included ahead, and you'll be ready to meet with a salesperson to begin your estimate.

Complete Your Personal Countertop Planner. With your materials chosen and your room dimensions sketched in, simply complete the Personal Countertop Planner form and visit your local retailer. That's all there is to it!

Prepare For A Great-Looking Countertop. You're almost ready to enjoy the Wilsonart interior you imagined from the start. When your installation has been scheduled, prepare your countertop by following these simple instructions:

• Have all materials ready -- including cabinets, appliances, hardware, sinks, faucets, etc. -- before scheduling your installation.

• Remove all loose items, including pictures, wall hangings, dishes, rugs, plants, or anything else that isn't permanently in place.

• Plan to keep your children and pets out of the construction area until the installation is complete.

• Designate a convenient trash collection area for the installers before they arrive. If you want to keep any of the discarded materials, let them know up front.

• Seal off adjacent rooms with sheets or drop cloths to keep the rest of your home from collecting dust.

• When remodeling your kitchen, expect it to be out of service for a few days. Set up a temporary food preparation area in another room, or plan to dine out.

• Set rules for the work crew. Let them know where to park, what door to enter, what restroom to use, where to use the phone, etc.

• Let your neighbors know about the work in advance. The crew will be entering and leaving your home, and they're likely to make a lot of noise.

• Be patient. Before you know it, your countertop will be sparkling with an interior decor you'll be proud of for years to come.
